Byrdie announced the winners of it’s first-ever beauty awards last year—and the site is honoring the winners of “The Byrdies” once again. 

Hallie Gould, senior editorial director of Byrdie, comments, “We’re back with The Byrdies spotlighting this year’s best in beauty—and it’s the biggest, most comprehensive roundup we’ve ever done.”

She adds, “We’ve also highlighted the pros who have helped transform the beauty space this year with their influence, innovation, artistry, education and/or medical expertise.”

The 2022 Byrdie Beauty Awards includes winners in skincare, makeup, body, hair care categories—plus, “Under $25” and “Beauty Pro” winners. The complete winners’ list includes 109 different categories.

Here are a few of the winners:

• Best Multi-Use Makeup Product—Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix Eye, Cheek & Lip Cream Pigment


• Best Hair Oil—Squigs Gooseberry Delight Hair Oil


• Best Eyeliner Under $25—Half Magic Magic Flik Liquid Eyeliner

Byrdie’s editors tested and analyzed each submission and collaborated with six guest beauty expert judges before naming the winning products. 

Winners were selected based on three criteria: Efficacy, Overall Value, and “That Special Something,” that indescribable factor that makes a product a favorite.
